Lewis Franklin “Franky” Traylor, 62 passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at his home in Harrisville, MS. He was born in Jackson, MS on Friday, March 9, 1962 to Frank and Claudette Traylor. Franky was raised and lived most of his life in Braxton, MS.

A Memorial Service will be held by the family at 10:30am on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Holly Grove Baptist Church with a burial to follow at Holly Grove Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Franky was a dedicated employee of McLain Plumbing for 32 years, expressing gratitude for the McLain family’s kindness. He formed numerous friendships during his tenure.

Franky, a man of pure heart, found his happiest moments in creating mischief with his loved ones. Alongside his partner in crime, Frank Adams, they brought boundless laughter and trouble to the Fox pen, where they ran their dogs with a multitude of dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Lewis Randall “Randy” Traylor; father, Frank Giles Traylor; mother, Claudette Weems; sister, Brenda Traylor Cockrell; nephew, Jackie Traylor.

Survivors include a host of cousins, other family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be sent to the Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
