The City of Magee swimming pool will open Tuesday, May 31, 2016!
The pool will be open Monday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Open swimming will coast $5 per person.
Swimming lessons will also be given at the Magee swimming pool for ages 3 and up. Lessons will be scheduled from 9 AM – 12 Noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. A week of swimming lessons will coast $80, which includes four 30 minute lessons a week. Each lesson will be one-on-one.
Pool parties and community groups will also be available at the Magee pool. Pool parties are $100 plus $25 per lifeguard. The Magee swimming pool requires at least 2 lifeguards. Parties can be scheduled Monday – Saturday for 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Community groups may schedule for Wednesday mornings from 9:00 – 10:30 AM or 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Community groups will need to contact Magee City Hall (601-849-3344) for pricing and scheduling.
The swimming pool is located at 120 5th St. SE., at the site of the walking/biking trail and the former YMCA location.
