The Scriptural passage for today is found in Galatians 5:25: “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” The early Christians were constantly being given tips for righteous living so they would serve as examples to others, especially to those newer converts to the faith. They were taught that the Holy Spirit was ever-present to serve as their Comforter and Guide, and they were to have an ongoing and vibrant pairing with Him at all times. We today are admonished to do the same. The Holy Spirit will be our Counselor if we’ll only allow Him to do His mighty work in our lives. Amen!
