The Scriptural passage for today is found in Isaiah 55:7: “Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.” The prophet speaks to his people to tell them that they should turn from their wicked ways, seek God, and they would be forgiven. The same holds for all mankind today. We can be forgiven and pardoned of our sins, but we must recognize the error of our ways, repent, and simply ask our Creator. He will then freely pardon and forgive. If you have not done this, I urge you to do a personal assessment and take care of this vital aspect of your life. Pray and read the BIBLE.
Okay, we have our charge for the day: muster all the love, joy, and kindness and share them with all those with whom we come in contact. Be gentle, be humble, and strive to be more Christ-like in all areas of our lives.
