Today’s Scriptural passage is found in Psalm 141:8: “My eyes are fixed on You, O sovereign Lord; in You I take refuge.” Again, we have words of praise from the psalmist who placed his complete trust and confidence in his Lord and Master. He knew that he had to keep his eyes fixed on God, or he, like the apostle Peter, would begin to sink and lose his footing. The psalmist sought refuge and safety under God’s watchful eye and under His wings. Let us strive to draw ever closer to our Maker as we seek His protection and safekeeping. Amen!
