Lenda Sue Sowell Bonner passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS at the age of 68. She was born on May 8, 1951, to her parents William F. and Idell Sue Woods Sowell in Magee, MS.
Lenda was a kind, loving and caring person. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Bonner; brother, Jimmy Wade; sister, Lottie Wade and grandson, Justin Puckett.
Lenda is survived by sons, James Bonner and Wyatt Bonner (Brandi); daughter, Kim Steen (Michael); sister, Rebecca Fortenberry; grandchildren, Kenneth Lewis, Jr., Alana Puckett, McKenzie Bonner, Brentley Bonner, Gentry Bonner, Haley Bonner and James Bonner, Jr.; eight great-grandchildren; extended family, Angel Warren, Peggy Parish and family.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee with services following at 4:00 p.m. in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Matthew Tharis will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
