Leila “Lee” Mae Guy, 80 of Bay Minette, Alabama passed from this life on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the Bedford Care Center in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, December 15, 1942 in Jamestown, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi. A private memorial service will be held by the family. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Mrs. Lee loved spending time outdoors gardening, and taking care of her plants. She loved her family and Auburn football. Cooking and baking were two of her favorite pastimes. She was an avid reader of her bible and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be missed dearly by all her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dwayne Guy; father, Robert M. Peace; mother, Mae Crane Peace; sister, Barbara Peace Sprinkle.

Survivors include her sons, Mike Guy (Lynn), Robert Booth (Susan) and Ronald Booth; daughter, Renee Booth-Robinson (Rick); brother, Marvin Peace; seven Grandchildren; fourteen Great-Grandchildren; and a host of other family and loved ones.
