By James Davis
The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in 1 John: 2:3: “We know that we have come to know Him if we obey His commands.” When we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, we become new creatures; however, we’re still subject to the same temptations as the non-Christian. It behooves us, therefore, to be very well-versed in His expectations of us. We must learn His laws by reading and studying God’s Word, the BIBLE, and fellowship with other Christians. Jesus is our Shepherd; we are His sheep. We know His voice and must pray without ceasing and listen for His direction and guidance. I love the little verse of Scripture, “Be still and know that I am God.” Become proficient in doing just that. Amen!
Happy Lord’s Day! Let others see Jesus in you!
