Guyot (Bartlett, Tenn.), a Second Team selection, was the only student-athlete from the Gulf South Conference to be voted to the team that was selected by the members of CoSIDA.
He also becomes the fifth football player to earned Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA, joining Anthony Saway (1975), Steve Johnson (1978 & 1979), Wayne Frazier (1983) and Kyle Fulcher (1997).
The four-year starter on the offensive line has posted a 3.88 cumulative grade-point-average in Kinesiology. He helped lead an offensive line that paved the way for 2,696 rushing yards in 2018, the 5th-highest total in school history.
Guyot was named to the GSC Academic Honor Roll in each of his four seasons with the Choctaws, and he was voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
