The Scriptural passage for today is found in Psalm 100:3: “Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made me, and we are his; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.” What a peaceful visual the psalmist provides of a shepherd and his sheep. We are, of course, the sheep being watched over by God, our Shepherd. We need not fear harm as we graze and take nourishment. He is our protector, providing safe harbor and passage. We should, therefore, be grateful and never take for granted the work our gentle Shepherd does for us. Thank you, Jesus!
Okay, let’s get out there today and spread and share the love, joy, and kindness with others. God expects it of us, and we do not wish to disappoint.
