Kevin Spong, 58, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 in Brandon, Mississippi. He was born Friday, September 8, 1961.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at County Line Baptist Church in Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church. Bro. Mickey Ferguson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Mr. Spong was a member of County Baptist Church in Mendenhall.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and stepmother.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri Spong; parents, Arlyn Barrett and Jacquelyn Spong; daughter, Dana Rankin (Joal), Amy Ellzy (Richie); son, Zach Stover; daughter, Holly Taylor (Andy); grandchildren, Bailee Taylor, Beckett Ellzy, Ben Taylor, Easton Rankin, and Gray Rankin; sisters, Melanie Spong and Karen Rice; brother, Brian Spong; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Wallis, Scott Allen, Chaz Kennedy, Ty Palmer, Bob Benton III, and Mike Ainsworth.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to County Line Baptist Church Building Fund
