A motion by the Magee Alderman at the Tuesday, May 19th meeting approved Kevin Meadows as a part time employee with the Magee Fire Department.

According to Fire Marshal Charlie Valadie, the decision will not affect the budget. Kevin will be used to “fill in the gaps” in certain areas. “Kevin has extensive training and will bring depth in certain areas to the department,” stated Valadie.

Kevin is a full time fireman in Jackson and a native of Magee and Simpson County.
