Kenneth Blake Bates, 25, died on August 8, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Hwy 49.  He was born on December 25, 1991, to Kevin Bates and Becky (Berch).
Kenneth was full of life and never met a stranger. He was employed with United Propane Gas Company.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley; daughter, Sadie Joanne Bates; parents, Kevin Bates (Rebecca) and Becky Berch (Barry);  brother, Kadyn Schrimpshire; sisters, Kayla Bates Williams, Katlyn Schrimshire and Nattilee Berch. He also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  The service will be at 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Old Good Hope Cemetery, Mendenhall, MS. with Reverend Kevin Meadows officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tutor Funeral Home.
