Keep Jesus in the center of our Worship.

The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Colossians 3:16: “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.” What a perfect outline for a worship service, as instructed by the apostle Paul to the early Christian church. The gospel message of Christ is to be the central focus of the service. Added to that is the inclusion of the congregation in active participation of lifting grateful voices in songs of praise and adoration. All teaching and instruction should be delivered directly from God’s Word. Let us keep Jesus at the center of our worship services. Amen!
