On 11/8/24 at approximately 05:25, an officer with the Magee Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Highway 149 near the Magee Co-op for a vehicle displaying no license plate. During the stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. It was further discovered that the driver, Kebryan Oatis, was operating the vehicle without a driver’s license and had no insurance. Additionally, marijuana and a firearm was found in his possession. Oatis was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Magee Police Department, where he was booked and processed.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Charges:
• Possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle with a firearm
• Improper/No license plate display
• Improper equipment
• No driver’s license
• No insurance
