Kathy McWilliams, 66 of Puckett, MS passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at her residence. She was born Tuesday, August 09, 1955 in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Puckett Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Puckett Baptist Church in Puckett, MS. Burial will follow in Puckett Cemetery. Bro. Alvin Doyle, Bro. John Hux, and Bro. John Rushing will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

 Mrs. McWilliams was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She served her community for 29 years as an Alderman of Puckett, MS. She retired from Puckett Attendance Center after serving 35 years as an Educator. Her love for children is unexplainable.

 She was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Vanderford.

 Survivors include her husband, Larry  McWilliams  of Puckett , MS;  son, Terry  McWilliams (Wendi) of Puckett, MS;  daughter, Christi  Dampeer  (Jason) of Magee, MS; parents, Rufus Vanderford and Betty Norton Vanderford both of Puckett;  grandchildren, Owen Wiley of Magee, Marlee Dampeer of Puckett, Knox McWilliams of Puckett, Jake Dampeer of Magee and Nash McWilliams of Puckett; brothers, Kenny Vanderford (Paula) of Puckett and Rudy Vanderford (Trish) of Puckett; sister, Cindy Hutson (Mac) of Puckett; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.

 Pallbearers will be Scott Vanderford, Timothy Vanderford, Taylor Hutson, Terry McWilliams, Jason Dampeer, and Owen Wiley.

 Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Vanderford, and Knox McWilliams.
