Kathy Lynn Prine, 60 of Harrisville, MS passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, September 6, 1964 in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at New Zion Baptist Church in Braxton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at New Zion Baptist Church in Braxton, MS. Burial will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Braxton, Mississippi. Bro. Jimmy Errington and Jeffrey Thompson will officiate. Special music will be performed by Dana Calhoun. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401.

Mrs. Prine was a cherished member of New Zion Baptist Church in Braxton. She was a loving wife and daughter, and everyone who knew her loved her. Mrs. Prine had a special affection for her dogs and deeply loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carson Orman; paternal grandparents, Charles Spurgeon Orman and Merle Louise Orman; maternal grandparents, Edward Burford Kirkland and Bobbie Kirkland.

Survivors include her husband, Tony Prine; step-son, Jacob Prine; mother, Kathleen Kirkland Orman; sister, Cynthia Ann Orman James; and a host of extended family.

Pallbearers will be Greg Welborn, Kenneth Grantham, Jacob Prine, Gregory Carman, Tony Smith, and Wilson Ward.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cory Calhoun.
