Kathleen Gay Davis Morris passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at her residence. She was 64 years old. She was born on December 4, 1959, to Frank M. Davis and Doris Virginia Kyzar.

Kathleen was a country girl at heart no matter where she went. During her earlier years, she worked at Morrison’s Cafeteria and Picadilly. After moving to Terry, MS, she went to work at Walmart in Byram where she was a dedicated employee and team-leader for 32 years. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Byram. Kathleen enjoyed taking her children and grandchildren fishing. She loved all animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Davis and Doris Kyzar and son, Tyree Womack.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Walt Womack (Julie); daughter, Kay Murphy (David); brothers, Rusty Johnson, Frank Davis Jr.; sisters, Mary Wooten, Frankie Sartin, Pat Dunnaway, Peggy Highlander, Katie Davis; five grandchildren, Lily Clair Womack, Rich Womack, Dixie Womack, Mollie Grace Murphy and Larry Tyree Womack.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Old Good Hope Cemetery in Martinville, MS with Bro. Gary Womack officiating.
