June Marie Jennings Lewis, 74, passed from this world into her eternal heavenly home on Friday, May 17, 2019.

She was born to Ashby and Louise Jennings on December 14, 1944 in Alameda, California. In 1962 she met and fell in love with Johnnie “Little Clyde” Lewis, a Navy sailor from Harrisville, Mississippi. They married on December 31, 1962. They added two daughters to their family before Johnnie was discharged from the Navy and they came to Harrisville to start their new life. They would add three more children to their family, another daughter and two sons. They endured many trials that most people would have walked away from.  They had just celebrated 45 years of marriage when cancer took Johnnie on February 27, 2008.
