David Shoemake (R), the judge for the MS 13th Chancery District Post 1, has qualified for re-election. Shoemake has served as the judge since 2010. His term ends in 2018. David served from 1973-2010 as a private attorney. Judge Shoemake lives in Collins, MS.
Magee attorney Chris Purdum has also qualified for this position.
Primary election is scheduled for June 5th with the general election November 6th.
