Joyce Roberts went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 4, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 3, 1937, to her late parents, Will Greer and Stella Sullivan Greer in Mendenhall, MS.
Joyce worked with the Simpson County School District for 27 years before retiring. She enjoyed homemaking, cooking, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by them. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Brother Paul Roberts; sons, Bob Roberts (Shelly), Chris Roberts; daughters, Shelia Smith (Steve Dale), Vicki Wesbrooks (Jay); brother, Troy Greer (Mildred); seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Todd Roberts; siblings, Billy Greer, Wilford Greer, James Truitt Greer, Sally Baker and Dorothy Nettles.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Corinth Baptist Church in Magee, MS from 5:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Corinth Baptist Church with visitation before the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Jay Wesbrooks and Bro Kenneth Roberts will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
