Joshua Randall May, 45, of Magee, passed away on June 23, 2026. He was born on March 28, 1981, to Lisa Harvey Runnels and Randy May.

Joshua was one of a kind. He touched the lives of many. He was the kind of person who would go above and beyond to see others smile. He was a big kid at heart. He could make you laugh, even in serious times. He was an amazing father, husband, son, nephew, and friend to many. You couldn’t go anywhere with Joshua without someone stopping to say they knew him and speaking to Josh. It didn’t matter where you went.

He loved tattooing, drawing, and most of all, arrowhead hunting. He could create things out of materials you would never envision yourself using. He made his mom bouquets of flowers from their yard or anyone else’s. He would bring his mom heart-shaped rocks and tell her those were pieces of his heart. If you were around Josh, you better love fishing. He would go day or night, rain or shine. Josh left memories everywhere his feet touched down. He will truly be missed forever. His mother says he is the best memory she could ever have.
