Josh Flynt, a senior at Simpson County Academy, signed with Belhaven University on June 14, 2020. Josh Flynt is an 18-year-old senior from Simpson Academy. He is the son of Kelly and Jennifer Flynt. Josh’s accomplishments include being an honors graduate and Ms. Scholar. His basketball honors include being a two-time state champion and in his senior year being a member of the team that won the district, south state, state 4a title, and MSAIS overall state championship. He made the all-tournament team in all the championships and was an all-state and all-star game participant. He was the captain of the first-ever Simpson Academy Overall basketball Championship Team. He is committed to Belhaven University where he will major in Sports Management and play basketball for the Blazers! We wish him good luck and well-being as he starts this new chapter of his life.
