On November 22, 2016, Joshua Carrell reported his 2002 Ford F150 truck stolen by Lajavian Johnson, along with all his work tools. Officers found this truck at the Kangaroo in possession of Lajavian Johnson.
Lt. Joey Womack advised Johnson of his Miranda rights and he waived his rights providing Lt. Womack with a statement. Johnson admitted to having the truck but it broke down and he was unable to return it to the owner.
Judge Eugene Knight issued an arrest warrant and the bond was set at $5,000.00 for joy riding.
Carrell got his truck back, but all his tools were missing from the truck.
