Johnny Cecil Stephens, 73, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.  He was born on May 4, 1942, in Shreveport, LA, to the (late) Ottis Houston and Lucy Mae Houston.
Mr. Stephens served his country proudly as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by; two sons, Jon Bryant (Lori), Clint Stephens; three daughters, Tavia Thompson (Duck), Missy Stephens, Angel Vertucci (Tony); two sister, Sandra Estes (Warren), Linda Houpt; sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel (Hardy) Stephens.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Stonewall Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinola, where he will be laid to rest.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.  Online condolences may be made online at www.tutorfuneralhome.com
