John Ready, a Magee firefighter, graduated Monday, July 1, 2024 from AMR-EMT Class. John has been with the Magee fire department for two years. Growing up in a small town, Monticello, John learned early the importance of helping others.
John was first in his AMR class and scheduled to take the national exam just 1 day after graduation! John passed the test and earned placement on the National Registry.
John is employed as a part time employee at the Magee Fire Department.
“The world needs more good people and helping people allows me to be the good person I set out to be,” stated John. “I do this for the people of my community and for the people in any community which may need me on their worst day because it will always be my goal to make their worst day better, “ John said.”
