John L Blair
(March 20, 1937 – February 8, 2017)
John L Blair, 79, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at his home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Bro. David Jager and Bro. Earl Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Jupiter Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
Mr. Blair is survived by his wife – Linda Powell Blair of Mendenhall; Sister – Darlene Berry of Mendenhall; Sister-in-law – Jewell Welch of Mendenhall; Nephews – Rocky Welch and James Berry. Jr. of Mendenhall; Nieces – Melinda Thomas, Wendy Welch and Nicole Berry of Mendenhall; Great- nephews- Joshua Thomas and Eli Thomas; Great-nieces- Ashley Welch and Hannah Welch; two-Great-Great nieces.
Mr. Blair is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mildred Blair; Brother-in-law – Joe Welch and Niece – Ashley Sandifer
