John Edward White, 72 of Mt. Olive, MS went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. in Mt. Olive, MS. He was born Monday, December 22, 1952, in Magee, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS. Bro. Larry Dennis Jr. will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by his son, Morgan White; father, Clyde Franklin White; mother, Helen Mae Dennis White.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Debra Kay Wilborn White; son, John David White; daughter, Connie White Maness (William); grandchildren, Charikee Prosser, Shy-Ann Prosser, Catherine Prosser, Christopher Maness, Laila Prosser, Kailey Knight and Chloe White; brothers, Ronald White (Pam) and Michael White; sister, Jennifer Collins (Gary).

Pallbearers will be Kailey Knight, Catherine Prosser, Scott Bowen, Gabriel Bishop, Jeff Parrett, and Matthew Byrd.
