Joe Hubert Rankin, 80, passed away January 29, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on November 4, 1934 to the parents of John Newman and Velma (Jones) Rankin.
Joe is survived by his wife Betty Jo (Hinton) Rankin; son, Joey (Alice) Rankin; grandson, Brad Rankin; great-granddaughter, Brooke Rankin; son, Randy (Kathy) Rankin; grandson Joal (Dana) Rankin; granddaughter, Jordan (Lee) Faler and great-grandson Rankin Faler; daughter, Teresa Rankin; sister, Mary Catherine (Don) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at Tutor Funeral Home of Magee on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in Tutor Funeral Home Chapel of Magee with Lee Faler, Joey Rankin and Richard Rankin officiating. Final resting place will be in Athens Cemetery in Mendenhall.
