At the May school board meeting, Coach Vic Jones of Mendenhall High School gave a highlight report of the Jobs for Mississippi Graduates Program.
In December 2015, the JMG Program held an installation ceremony for new members and officers with District Attorney Matt Sullivan installing the officers.
The community service project for the years was “Teens for Jeans.” The group delivered over 200 pairs of jeans to the Angel Wings Women’s Shelter of Simpson County.
Individual student accomplishments for the year:
Jordan Larkin———First Place Finance Literacy. Jordan will represent JMG at JAG National Meeting in Washington DC.
Dora Winstead—Fourth Place Entrepreneurship
Taylah Jackson—$500 Joe Haynes Scholarship
Kelsey Sheppard—Chairman’s Award
