Joan Ashley Ponder, 82, passed away on October 2, 2015 at her residence. She was born on September 25, 1933 to her parents, the late E. A. and Mabel Ashley.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alfred Ponder; one son, Josh Lamon; one daughter, Jeannie Lamon and one brother, Edwin Ashley (Patricia).
Visitation will be Saturday, October 3, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall from 5:00 pm- 8:00 pm. Services are 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 4, in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel in Mendenhall MS with interment following in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Ted Bowlin will officiate.
