Jo Ann Massie, 79, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015, in Magee. She was born on May 12, 1939, to the (late) George and Martha Kirk of Kentucky.
Mrs. Massie is survived by a daughter, Rita Mallette, two grandsons; Leslie Mallette and Scottie Mallette, and three great-grandchildren; Lila Grace Mallette, Waylon Mallette, and Cayden Mallette.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Elbert Massie.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall.
Services will be held 9:00 am – 10:00 am on Sunday, September 20, at Everett Baptist Church, Mendenhall, MS. The final resting place will be at Everett Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
