Jimmy Evelyn Burkett, 85, of Martinville, Mississippi, passed away Monday at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born Thursday, January 19, 1933.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee in Magee. The Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery. Bro. Travis Conoy will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
She was preceded in death by husband, Aaron Burkett; parents, Johnny and Ashia Layton; son Jerry Ham (Carolyn).
Survivors include her sons, Mike Ham (Paulette), Tony Burkett (Renee) and Walter Burkett (Jaime); 13 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; and host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robin Ham, Matthew Ham, Jordan Ham, Aaron Burkett, TJ Burkett, Terry Ham, Sean Ham, Brian Ham, Jayden Hays and Brandon Hays.
