Jimmie Ruth (Fedrick) Warren passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the age of 81 in Deer Park, TX. She was born to Cloney (C.J.) Johnson Fedrick Sr. and Cora Jane (Heggins) Fedrick on February 23, 1940, in Prentiss, MS.

She attended Clem High School in Prentiss, MS. While there, she was a part of the girls’ basketball team. One of her fondest memories was telling her children about the time her team played against the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters. She worked for Gerland’s Food as a courtesy booth manager for over 30 years before retiring. Her hobbies included her word search books, games on Facebook, and getting pampered at her local nail salon.

She is survived by her son, James Warren, Jimmy Ray Lee (Anita); daughters, Judy Brinson (Steve), Annette Calvert (Jerry); grandchildren, Lil Wayne Bass (Lacy), Jeremy Calvert (Chelsee), John Robert Lee, Devan Warren, Ashley Warren, Sarah Sherman (Greg); great-grandchildren, Aniston Bass, Sidney Bass, Rivers Bass, Lillian Calvert, Aubrey Sherman and Owen Sherman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Warren; brothers, Barry Fedrick (Gladys), Cloney Fedrick Jr. (Lucille), Ray Fedrick (Jenny), Lewis Fedrick (Jessie), Joe Fedrick (Linda), Billy Fedrick (Lynette); sisters, Beatrice Reeves (Jack), Bobbie Jean Boney (Gaston), Jo Ann Lewis (Blacky) and Inez Griffith (Andrew).

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS. The service will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Old Good Hope Cemetery.

All arrangements entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
