Jimmie Carlon Westbrook, 73 of Smith County, MS entered his heavenly home on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was born Wednesday, August 8, 1951 in Raleigh, MS.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Maranatha Baptist Church, 5601 Hwy 35, Mt. Olive, MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Maranatha Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lemon Christian Cemetery, 9035 SCR 581, Forest, MS. Bro. Rudy Jackson and Bro. Johnny Hancock will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by his father, James William Westbrook; mother, Florence Loretta Moseley Westbrook; brothers, Larry Westbrook, Stennis Dale Westbrook; son-in-law, Kenneth Byrd.

He is survived by his daughters, April Westbrook Byrd, Amanda Westbrook Wallace and Jenny Carol Westbrook; grandchildren, Macee Hood (Hunter), Kaitlin Laird (Ty), Haley Wallace, Jenna Blackston, Jerome Blackston, Jr. and JaMarcus Blackston; great grandchild, Piper Killingsworth; brothers, Walter Westbrook (Tonya) and John Wayne Westbrook (Laurie); sisters, June Cook (Donald Ray), Janice Sanderford, Jane Maxwell, Judy Boykin (Donnie), Jeannie Sullivan (John), Jerri Arender (Johnny), Cassie Jackson (Rudy) and Joanie Byrd; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Westbrook, Elton Westbrook, Roger Dale Rhodes, Dustin Jackson, Cody Jackson, Justin Westbrook, Donald Boykin, Joshua Byrd, Lucas Westbrook, Darrell Moseley, Matthew Moseley, Joe Moseley, Christopher Moseley, and Peanut Westbrook.
