Dr. Jim Burnett will be at Berry’s Seafood in Magee on Friday July 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to sign copies of his new book, “Miracle at Caller’s Spring Ranch”.

“Dr. Jim Burnett is a freelance writer who has written many leadership articles published in Christian magazines. He has also been interviewed on the Fox and Friends morning show as an advocate for prayer in public schools. Jim has pastored four churches in Mississippi over his twenty-five years in ministry. Currently, he is the lead pastor of Willow Pointe Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, which he helped start in 2002. He is an avid horseman who has been riding since he was a toddler. Jim enjoys working with young colts and has been around horses and cattle all of his life. He and his wife, Kim, have three children: Brandon, Nathan, and Emily, and a granddaughter, Caroline.”

Jim’s Inspiration: “I grew up riding horses and am still crazy about them. Much of what is written and interwoven into the characters of Miracle at Caller’s Spring was inspired by personal experiences I had while growing up on our family farm and being involved in the cowboy culture. In this novel, I incorporated my love for God and my affinity for equines to weave together a powerful redemptive story of love, hope, forgiveness, salvation, and recovery. You will see firsthand how God saves a Wyoming ranching family from financial and emotional bankruptcy.”
