A special called meeting of the Simpson County Board of Education was held Wednesday night, August 2nd, at 6:00 at the District Office Board Room.
Board members in attendance: Sammy Welch, Lilly Hardy, and Dale Shots.
Elizabeth Christian, Human Resources, presented the resignation of Darien Spann, English teacher at Magee High School and the appointment of Jillian Etridge as English teacher replacing Darien Spann at Magee.
Both recommendations were approved by the board.
With no other business, the meeting was adjourned.
