By James Davis
The Scripture for today is found Luke 3:31-32: “Jesus answered them, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.'” Yes, Jesus came to save that which was lost, as we’re told in other sections of the New Testament. The righteous had already made their peace with God and were devoted followers of Jesus and His ministry. Detractors were constantly attacking Jesus, His claims, while seeking to destroy Him and the threat He posed. Jesus came to seek and to save. He did throughout His earthly ministry, and the message remains the same today. He offers the sin-sick a chance for wellness and redemption with His gift of salvation. If you have not taken care of this all-important decision at eternal life with Christ Jesus, please do so today. Amen!
Happy Wednesday!
