Jerry Williams passed away on Sunday, Jun 9, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.  He was born on April 25, 1941, to his parents, the late Chester Williams and Nettie Walley Williams .
After serving his country in the United States Navy, he returned home and became self-employed. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend that will be dearly missed by his family and community.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Lois James Williams; sons, Chris Middleton, Todd Williams (Charlotte); daughters, Chanel Allen (Matthew), Tiffany Mangum (Chuck), Andrea Stallings (Brian); sisters, Wanell Snipes, Rita Moore; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Tressie Mae Williams and Wanda Evans.
Visitation will be held at Overflow Church, 222 Railroad Drive in Magee on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the funeral following at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Kennedy Springs Cemetery. Bro. Paul Barnard and Bro. Roger Lee will officiate the service, with Todd Williams delivering the eulogy.
Pallbearers will be Josh Williams, Dylan Mangum, Taylor Allen, Mayson McKey, Isaac Allen, Brian Stallings Jr., and Conner Stallings.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
