Jerry D Walsh, 75, of Mount Olive, passed from this life Sunday, March 27, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Bro. John Barnes will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
Mr. Walsh was survived by his wife – Lucy J Walsh of Mount Olive, daughters – Darlene Warren (Steve) of Mize, Phyllis Williams (Robert) of Florida, Billie Sue McManus of Florida; Son – Jerry Daniel Walsh of Mount Olive; daughter – Christina Thornton (Bronson) of Magee; brother – James A Walsh of Florida; sisters – Lawanda Turnage of Mize and Terry Lewis of Colorado; seven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Mr. Walsh is preceded in death by parents – Emmett Lee and Laverne Walsh; brothers- Larry James Walsh and Roger Allen Walsh.
