Jeff passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 62 due to a tragic car accident. EMT and larger than life husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle,  David Jeffrey Little’s life didn’t come to an end with his death. His family will continue to honor his legacy by living a fun-filled life dedicated to family and friends.

He was preceded in death by Jerrell Little, his father.

Jeff is survived by Patricia “Pat” Little, his mother, Rhoda Berry Little, his wife of 42 years, his two children Richard Little (Lindsey), Morgan Little Langley (Michael), his three grandchildren David Chandler Little, Kate Grace Little, and Jackson Lawrence Langley which he adored and cherished, his brothers Jerry Little (Trish) and Joel Little and many nieces and nephews who will miss their “fun” Uncle Jeff.

Jeff worked most of his professional life as a salesman and was known by many as the “bubblegum man”. Being the bubblegum man was his favorite job. He, also, enjoyed his time at Caribe Resort in Orange Beach, AL operating the poolside snack bar. Jeff devoted much of his time helping his wife open Rhoda’s Cakes and Cakery when they moved back to Magee, MS. He, then, obtained his EMT certification and served in Smith County with AMR. He was dedicated to the people of Smith County and strived to give them the comfort and dignity he wanted in a time of crisis.

It was probably one of the most common activities in life that gave Jeff the greatest pleasure: He lived to mow the grass and kept not only his yard, but neighbor’s yards and the bakery’s grounds looking fabulous.

Visitation will be at Goodwater Baptist Church February 1, 2022 at 2:30-4:00 pm. Interment will be at Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery at 4:00pm.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home Magee.
