Jeannie Meachelle McAlpin, of Braxton, who passed away Friday, April 01, 2022.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 03, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 03, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will be at Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize. Bro. Donald Green will officiate the services.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Mike  McAlpin; Ericha Burns, grandchild; parents, Jessie  Wayne and Mary  Alice Tanner Gentry;  brother, Stanley  Tanner;  grandparents, Prentis and Fannie  Craft; nephew, Douglas  Kennedy.

She is survived by her Companion, Erich Hohm; son, Adam M. McAlpin  of Harrisville; daughter, Candy  Burns  (Wayne ) of Harrisville , MS;  grandchildren, Brier  Burns,  Araya  Burns,  Summer  Lashay  McAlpin,  Gaberial  McAlpin, Jeremy  McAlpin,  Matthew  McAlpin and Serenitee  Burns;  brothers, Scotty  Kennedy  of Taylorsville, Timothy  Kennedy  (Jeanie ) of Mize and Josh  Kennedy (Crystal ) of AL; sisters, Barbara  Booth  of Mize, Jennifer  Tanner  (Randy) of Magee and Cindy  Barfield  (Dwayne ) of Bay Springs; and host of nieces  nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Randy Tanner, Wayne Burns, Timothy Kennedy, Josh Kennedy, John Warren, and Austin Tanner. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Kennedy, Brian Amason, Brier Burns, Gaberial McAlpin, Ashley Amason, and Angel Warren.
