Jeanette Austin, 84 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 ather home in Mendenhall, MS. She was born Sunday, January 22, 1939 in Mississippi.

   Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 04, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mize, MS. Bro. Joe Metts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

   Mrs. Austin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church in Magee. She loved her family, church, music, and game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune. She had two grandchildren that called her Mamaw G and Mamaw Hoss.

   She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Austin; parents, Lester and Janie Stewart; brother, J.L.  Stewart; sisters, Bobbie Craft and Minnie Frith.

   Survivors include her son, James  Austin  of Mendenhall, MS;  daughters, Lisa  Breeland  of Mendenhall and Paula May  of Brandon; grandchildren, Chad  Breeland  (Christy) of Prentiss, MS; Jodi  Miller  (Russ) of Prentiss; Meagan  May-Burke  (Buck) of Bentonia ,and Abby  Austin  of Fort Pierce , Florida;  great- grandchildren, Brantley Breeland, Addison Breeland, Bella Miller and Brady  Miller; nephew, Jerry  Craft;  niece, Wanda  Johnson.

    Pallbearers will be Carl Craft, Jeff Anderson, Chad Breeland, Russ Miller, and Scott Rankin.
