Jean Tullos White, age 91, departed this life on June 2, 2015, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee and Friday, June 5, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm. A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, June 5, at 3:00 pm in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sharon Cemetery.
She was born on December 23, 1923 to Jasper Lon Tullos and Hattie Bailey Tullos. As a child, she grew up in the Burns, Lemon area. She worked at JC Penney for several years before settling in Mize, Ms. She was known for preparing her delicious meals, especially her chicken pies.
She set a great example to all who k

new her. She was loving, caring person who always put others first. She lived by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
She was a big fan of Mize baseball and football teams, where she always attended her four grandson’s games.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Adcock (Joey), Judy Rankin (Joe); four grandchildren, Anthony Adcock, Jasper Adcock (Helena), Joseph Adcock (Lacy), Isaac Adcock (Krystal); two great grandchildren, Emmelyn Adcock and Alma Adcock.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Eula Russom Tullos; her  loving husband of 58 years, Winton (W.O.) White; ; son, Larry White,  two brothers; Jack Tullos, H.D. Tullos; four sisters, Irene Parker, Selma Myrick, Mell White and Mattie Dee Warner.
