Jean Clyde Ford gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was born on December 31, 1924, to James Edward Wilson and Belle (Harper) Wilson.
Jean retired after working many years as a bookkeeper with the YMCA in Jackson, MS. She volunteered her time at Magee General Hospital. She was a member of her local book club. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, one son, Jimmy Clyde (Debbie); four granddaughters, Kristi Scoggins, Kelli Kemp (Gary), Kim Lewis (Rob), Kasey Clyde; five great-grandchildren, Addison Clyde, Maci Scoggins, Kody Scoggins, Gage Kemp, Fuller Kemp, also many extended family that adored her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, Wayne Clyde and Jim Ford.
Visitation for friends will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Lakewood Cemetery in Jackson at 3:30 p.m. Pastor Tommy Jennings will officiate.
