Jay B Dunaway, 64, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Thursday, January 5, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall, Bro. Ed Hauser will officiate. Burial will be at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.

Mr. Dunaway is survived by his Wife, Debra Kay Dunaway, of forty-two years; Daughter – Deborah Bishop (Justin Bishop); Sons – Bill Jay Dunaway (Traci Dunaway), Lessee Ray Dunaway (Cynthia Ford), George Paul Dunaway (Krystina Dunaway); Sisters – Gracie Ann Kennedy (Woody Kennedy), Judy Lynn Tew (J.B. Tew), June Marie Dunaway; Brother – Jerry Lee Dunaway (Pat Dunaway); Eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mr. Dunaway is preceded in death by his parents John Brylan Dunaway and Myrtle Dunaway; Brother – John Larry Dunaway.
