Mrs. Janice Fortenberry Pochis, age 81, of Aragon, GA passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in Miami, FL on July 16, 1936 a daughter of the late Charles Fortenberry and Katherine Kyle Fortenberry. Mrs. Pochis had been a resident of Aragon for the past two years moving here from Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Owens Cemetery in Shivers, MS. Bro. Earl Clark will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Pochis.
Survivors include a son, Dean Varney, Aragon and a daughter, Kathy Toledo, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a sister Elizabeth, a brother Ricky and numerous nieces and nephews.
