Janie Geneva Boykin Anding, 82, of Mt. Olive, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, August 12, 1937, in Smith County.

A private family Graveside Funeral Service will be held Sunday, April 26, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery in Raleigh. Bro. Raymond Jeffcoat will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mrs. Anding was a member of Christian Life Temple.  She was loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and sister.  She was a seamstress.  She was an avid Bible reader and studied Gods word daily.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Vilous Truitt Anding; parents, Isaac B. and Winnie Katherine Boykin; two brothers, Kenneth Boykin and Quitman Boykin; one sister, Evolia Boykin; one son-in-law, Harvey McDonald.

Survivors include two daughters, Gretchel Leglue and husband Jeffery, of Mt. Olive, and Candace Anding of Mt. Olive; five grandchildren, Nick Walker and wife, Heather, T.J. Walker and wife, Alison, Veronica Hall and husband, Michael, Whitney Powell and husband, Charlie, and Kayla Miller; twelve great-grandchildren, Chase, Emma, Baily, Alvie, Trulee, Karli, Jesse, Joey, Luke, Lane, Payton, and Paisleigh; one brother, Isaac Lavoyde Boykin.

Pallbearers will be Nick Walker, Charlie Powell, T.J. Walker, Jeffery Leglue, Michael Hall, and Carroll Gentry.  Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Burnham and Baily Walker.
