James Wayne Walley, 59 of Taylorsville, MS passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He was born Wednesday, June 12, 1963 in Taylorsville, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Bro. Shawn Wiebers will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564
Wayne worked for 25 years at Hol-Mac in Bay Springs. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Wayne was a loving father, son and brother. He was loved by his family and he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Walley; brother, Paul Ray Walley; sister, Wanda Walley Jernigan.
Survivors include his son, Harrison Walley (Katlin) of Prattville, AL; mother, Lucille Sims Walley of Taylorsville, MS; brother, Danny Walley of Taylorsville, MS; sisters, Patricia Walley Blackwell (Paul) of Taylorsville, MS, Judy Walley Clark (Roy) of Taylorsville, MS and Pam Walley Kemp (Billy) of Magee, MS; brother-in-law, Tommy Jernigan of Taylorsville, MS.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Blackwell, Dale Clark, Jason Blackwell, Michael Blackwell, Austin Parker, and Devon Ballard.
