James Slater, 63, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Thursday, August 27,
2015 at home. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August
31, 2015 at Campbell’s Creek Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Colonial Chapel
Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
He was survived by: Wife – Cynthia Slater, Sons – James Michael Slater, and
Joshua Adams Slater, Daughter – Amber May Fuller, Brother – Steve Slater,
Sister – Colleen Yother, 8 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, and host of
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded death by: Parents – James Slater, and Frances Slater,
Sister – Linda Stowe.
